VHS Football Boosters hopes all are well & getting ready for more COUGAR FOOTBALL!!!!
With the new season quickly approaching, the Boosters are busy getting ready too! Please
mark your calendars for our next Bi-Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, May 8th, at 7pm in
the VHS Teacher's lounge (next to the Student Store). Besides general business taking place,
elections for the 2012-2013 VHS Football Boosters Board will be this evening. Nominations for
the board positions have been submitted & are attached for your view. Additional nominees are
welcome & can be submitted at any time before the elections. The VHS Football Boosters is a
great place to stay informed & get involved with Cougar Football!

Recycle Truck Update

Hi, just some info about the Recycle Truck on Poli.
It's parked by the tennis courts every Saturday 9-3.  
 
2 bags a week from your family earns $42,000 a year for the Track Team.  We take Plastics 1-7 (including milk jugs at 50 cents a pound, tennis ball cannisters ), anything glass (ie. wine bottles and pasta jars,) and, of course, aluminum (including cat food tins). You don't have to rinse or separate the containers, just put them in any bag and drop them off at the truck, designating the bag(s) to go to Track.  Our students don't have to sort the recycling. A company does that for us.  
When in doubt, throw it in.

I'm just waiting for one school, club or team to earn tens of thousands, on two bags a week. If we are successful, all the cash-strapped schools in Detroit, NY, LA and Fiji can also earn $100,000 a year on two bags a week!
